This book was a collaboration between Tony Quinn (editor), Alex Van Someren and myself – all from Acorn User magazine. The idea was that Alex and myself would write the books and Tony would edit them.
The name Victory Publishing was taken from the street in South Wimbledon where Tony lived at the time, and where the books were produced. A daisy wheel printer was used to create camera-ready artwork. I wrote the printer driver specifically for the printer to ensure that a slash was printed through a ‘0’ when it was printed, as the zero and oh were identical.
